Job Description GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Help and support the F&B team in providing a consistent and high-quality personalized F&B service, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to relating to customer service, cleanliness and personal development.
Demonstrate Velaa's culture and service standards awareness and acts as a role model.
Provide support in preparing the 'mise en place' for different service periods.
Assist in the setup of restaurant for meal periods, clearing and resetting of tables when necessary.
Clear and fill service stations with required items and work as a team.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe and orderly work area and ensures to follow the HACCP & general hygiene standards and operating procedures.
Qualifications SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in a similar role at a high-end five-star luxury hotel/resort, preferably in Maldives.
Good academic background.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in additional languages is welcome.
Proactive and focus attention on service, whilst always remaining calm and courteous.
Familiarity with HACCP standards in food handling is welcome.
Pleasant personality with excellent grooming.
Additional Information.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
