Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Assurance Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our company's financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1.
Managing the assurance accounting process, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
2.
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, ensuring they are accurate and timely.
3.
Conducting audits and reviews of financial transactions and reports to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
4.
Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
5.
Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial reporting.
6.
Providing financial advice and guidance to management, including the development of forecasts and financial plans.
7.
Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
8.
Conducting financial risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Assurance Accountant position, you must possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, assurance accounting, or as an assurance accounting manager.
4.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, as well as the laws, regulations, and standards that govern the mortgage industry.
5.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
7.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8.
Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.
