Assists the lead insurance coordinator with credentialing and recredentialing of health care providers and maintenance of provider credentialing files.
Submission of pre-authorizations Insurance verification and insurance breakdowns Ensures proper documentation and attachments are submitted with claims Responsible for claims submission and follow-ups on aging report Monitoring of patient balances and collecting previous balances Creation and maintenance of coverage tables and fees schedule Collaboration with front desk managers to follow-up on claims status Reconciliation of ledgers Works collaboratively with lead credentialing coordinator to ensure credentialing and re-credentialing process is completed timely Performs other related duties indicated in the SOP or as assigned by management.
