Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering inquiries, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
Contribute to creating a welcoming and informative environment for customers, ensuring a positive and comfortable shopping experience.
Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on the latest cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and potential risks associated with different cannabis products.
Sales:
Execute sales transactions accurately and efficiently through our point-of-sale system.
Upsell and cross-sell products to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Compliance:
Obtain and maintain an Illinois Agent Identification (Agent ID) in accordance with state regulations.
Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Contribute to restocking and organizing products on the sales floor.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cannabis regulations in Illinois is an advantage.
Successful completion of the Illinois Agent Identification application process.
