Quality Engineering Manager

Oversee root-cause analysis completion and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions Quality planning of engineering designs, new product introduction, and production processes Work towards achieving optimal quality and production costs Participate in Customer Contract Review and responsible for quality planning requirements Assist Purchasing to develop and maintain a high quality supplier base On the manufacturing floor being hands on   What do you need for this position?   Bachelor's Degree in engineering, quality assurance or related field 8+ years of experience in quality management involving machined metal parts Knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and standard process control Experience in an ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing environment Understand engineering drawings, metrology, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Offer leadership ability, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to be a team player and train and mentor Detail-oriented, accurate, organized Self-directed with the ambition to learn and grow career Ability to critique suppliers and track quality along with purchasing management Offer excellent problem-solving Quality and customer focused Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement   Desired   ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Manager Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Competitive salary and excellent benefit package. Salary Range: $80K - $110K
