Architectural Project Manager

Woolpert, Inc., a top architectural and engineering design firm, seeks an Architectural Project Manager for Architectural projects in our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office. Responsibilities:
Candidate will ideally have expertise in both new facilities and adaptive reuse of existing buildings, and in one or more of the following markets - commercial, retail, industrial and/or multi-family mixed-use developments.
Ideal candidates must have good business skills to manage schedules, budgets and design processes for development projects.
Strong organizational skills along with written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work easily with clients, team members, consultants and other Woolpert Design staff are also essential.
Candidates should also display strong business development, proposal development and interviewing skills.
The right candidate for this position will have both strong technical and leadership skills and be ready to lead building projects as well as a talented team of people.
Candidate should be well versed in facilitating interdisciplinary coordination, developing professional communications and delivering presentations.
Strong organizational skills along with written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work easily with clients, team members, consultants and other Woolpert Design staff are also essential.

Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of related experience and or equivalent work experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
